Re: Left Behind 3: Rise of the Anti-Christ trailer

Maybe I just have problems trying to understand where the faith-based undertone lies in this game. What is the message that this trailer (and game) is trying to present? I'm having a hard time trying to find that out.

Re: The Bible: Online

Just wanted to let you guys know that The Bible Online is now available for players outside of Europe. I was able to log in and play. It's a pretty neat game! This would make a good Facebook game. It's one of those time-management games that most Facebook games do (build a house and wait an hour bef...

Re: android phone

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but I'm thinking that these new "android phone" topics that keep coming up are started by spambots. The same topic has occurred almost 4 times now in this forum, and the signature of the OP have links leading to marketing websites (and they've all only made 1 post). Can a...

Re: The Bible: Online

Sorry for the late reply. I had registered in the forum and someone else from the US had asked the same question. The game is only available to European players and they are still deciding on whether or not to release it to other countries.

Re: The Bible: Online

If you live in the US, you won't be able to play it, unfortunately. I kept getting an error saying: "Our sincerest apologies, we cannot provide service to players in your region or to players using open proxies." when I tried to sign up to play. I sent an email to the developers asking if it would b...

Collector Card Game (CCG) design

I found some really useful info for anyone who's interested in making their own CCG, whether traditional or digital! The author really goes down to the bare bones of what makes CCG games fun and how to make it work for you!

Re: android phone

The nook for Android is out now. You can try searching on B&N for it. I'm pretty sure they have it in eBook form and you can download it to your nook app.

Indie Game Funding Article

Someone from another game site shared this article and I thought it might be great to share it here, since funding is one of the major obstacles we, as indies tend to run into during the course of our projects. It's a really great read with loads of info :)

Re: Funding your game with Kickstarter

Yep a few of us have been aware of this site (and utilized it, as well). Laurene used it to help fund the Visions project, and I used it to try to fund my game. It's a good site, but word of mouth is really the key to getting funded, because if you don't meet the goal, then you're not awarded any of...

I thought this was an interesting read to see how mainstream media views religion in sports.

Re: Woot! Anyone here develop in Java / JS?

I've been bouncing back and forth from Java to Flash because the syntax is so similar. I would love to try and develop a project in Flash and be able to translate it to Java to be playable on the Android platform.
