...A Tempest clone in Unity...and we need some help

Hi CDN, We've been building a knock-off of the old cabinet game Tempest and it's supposed to be live for Intel's IDF conference in mid September. But they just changed the deadline on us and we could use some 3D texturing help. Please see our post in the Help Wanted section. Anyway, we are also work...

Hi CDN, We're up against a deadline and we have some 3D texturing work that we could use some help with. Lemme hand the keyboard to the guy doing the models as he'll explain it better...Gavin, take it away. Ok, basically I'm building a bunch of meshes. I've finished creating the geometry for the mai...

Re: Soma Games is giving away an iPad...you want it?

Hey PFC - you don;t have to have an iThingy - you can play it on the PC. Go to our home page http://www.somagames.com/ and click on the link to Intel's App Up Center. That game is one rev behind our iPhone version right now but it's still a really great game and we'll be updating it to parity pretty...

Re: Soma Games is giving away an iPad...you want it?

Hi Exodus - the reason is that the two versions are currently out of synch and the PC version doesn't have the feature set needed to play in the competition just yet. BUT... There's a good chance we'll be holding a similar contest in the near future that's just for the PC version and the prize will ...

Soma Games is giving away an iPad...you want it?

Back in April Soma Games launched our first game called G:Into The Rain and the people on this board gave us a lot of really good input including telling us what sucked and what worked. We were listening. http://www.somagames.com/pix/ARC/G-screen_shots/GContestShot.jpg To cut to the chase, we recent...

Re: Knife Toss - Our First Iphone Game

Awesome ! Way to go! And let me just tell you - nothing, no NOTHING, says 'Xian video game' like throwing an axe at a demonic clown (if that doesn't seem redundant). I think this has 'spiritual warfare allegory' written all over it. :D All joking aside Brock - very cool. Soma Games congratulates you...

Re: Soma Games made it to the PC

ArchAngel - BTW, I would be much obliged if you could write a quick review on that Intel store for us. With press folks looking at this a lot right now, the more reviews we have the more eyeballs will see us on the 'what's hot' list.
