I may be back...?

Ugh. I mean like... ugh. Is it really so hard to find a reliable community of people that can remain civil? Our core beliefs in the very existence of our race differ greatly, yet... I can come here and ramble and rant in a civil manner can't I? I frequent other online forums, mostly for hobby inter...

Christians as Buddhists

Time to stir the pot a bit. In a few short lines (No essay epics) describe why or why not you think a Christian could or could not be a Buddhist at the same time. I ask only because I made a visit to a Buddhist Temple for a class I'm taking and they mentioned that (in their world view) that it is al...

Re: How do Evolutionists see Creationism?

Just tuning in to see this discussion and I find it very interesting, I won't contribute too much because 1) It sounds like most of you have devoted more time to the study than I have and 2) Classes are giving me a paddling this time around; I can't afford to partake in a debate right now. I just wa...

Re: The Polarization of America

I'm not going to get in depth or spend time researching this much further but I wanted to point out that both of your sources are Fox News; not an organization with a credible reputation for unbiased and truthful reporting. Take what you read from them with a grain of salt. Yet you say nothing abou...

Re: Global Warming Fraud

Sadly when you see tampered evidence you need to bring ALL their work into question. Not just the stuff that had shown to be fraudulent. This is because they've proven themselves to be unethical and just because evidence hasn't surfaced regarding other publications it doesn't mean they're truthful. ...

5th (useful *cough*) appendage would have been awesome! I'm so sorry to hear that. Just so you know, it is awesome. A tail would be cool, too. I don't know about you, but I don't think its awesome to try and lift/hold things with that :p. (Which is what I was getting at. Sheesh get your mind out of...

Re: Global Warming Fraud

Whether or not Global Warming exists many of you have to admit that there is a climate change occurring. I personally attribute it to natural cycles reoccurring but whateva. I say this because where I live (Good ol' Saskatchestan) the climate is significantly different from when I was young. Now I l...

Re: proofthatgodexists.org

Darnit! I take a week or so off and look what happens! This thread blows up! Brawwwww! I'm just going to start my daily rant off by stating that maybe I've lost my desire to debate these topics, or maybe you've all just outdone me. Again, the website in the title is somewhat cool but the author is i...

Re: Large Hadron Collider

Well my family and I are still stockpiling canned food and bottled water, just in case the LHC makes a black hole. Isn't it safe to do that regardless if you can store the space? I mean a black hole isn't the only threat to civilized life and probably lowest on the scale of chances of actually happ...

Re: proofthatgodexists.org

I'll just clarify that little bit JetSpice: Christianity , in its current form, is 100% man made. Whether God is or is not isn't my point. The religion is man made specifically because of various historic events such as the translation of the bible and the rewriting of the bible after it was initial...

Re: proofthatgodexists.org

lol? The site proclaims the requirement of logic to arrive at its conclusion. The path they create is 'logical' in any sense it forgets that "Universal" goes beyond our planet and experiences. They group the laws together stating that they're universal because they are what we believe but fail to re...

Re: Anyone here own a Macbook?

The only way to reach the Mac audience - which is growing all the time - is to test on a Mac. Also Iphone developement requires a Mac - and at the moment they are winning in the handheld wars (I'm pulling for android though) I completely agree with you here. My mindset however is that if you're att...

Re: Anyone here own a Macbook?

The real question you need to ask is why do you want a Mac? They're good for various things and terrible for others. I don't know you on these forums but I'll assume you code? In that case there are numerous helpful tools available for a Windows or Linux environment you can get. You'll want to test ...

Re: Issues with internet

In my experienced opinion I would recommend the following: Reformat. Why? You're on WinXP. A version of Windows notorious for slowing over time (But what version ISN'T ?). You didn't provide much of a detailed description of the issue but if the posters above are correct your SpyWare problem would c...

Re: I have been really convicted with playing some video games.

I didn't read the entire post above me TL;DR etc. etc. but I did see a certain point that is the heart of this issue. Despite your efforts to "not do it" or "not think about it" you are still thinking about doing it, it is effecting you. Your faith is yours and if it is strong it should not be swaye...
