Re: Sleep Tracker app for iDevices

Thanks for checking it out, and for the suggestions. I'll keep them in mind for the next update.

Sleep Tracker app for iDevices

Hey guys I haven't posted in a while, but ever since the last speed game I've been working hard on learning iPhone development. 6 months later I've finally got my first app out :D I'm really happy with how it turned out. Basically, you tell the app when you go to bed and when you wake up, and it'll ...

Re: Blender Game Engine???

Blender game engine is great for starting out because like your friend said, it's possible to create a game without doing any scripting. The graphics and physics won't be quite as good as Unity's, but that doesn't mean you can't create some awesome stuff. The big problem is that you can't sell your ...

Re: The Worst Website. Ever.

Sorry I never updated you guys. Yeah, I turned it in, here's what the professor emailed me: Oh. My. Gosh. I had to send you a special note to tell you how much I LOVED your page. I haven't been able to grade anything else for 10 minutes because I've been laughing so hard! (And I really enjoy getting...

Re: Drone Decipher --- (VisionaryCynic's entry)

Thanks for the extensive review, bugala, you made some insightful points. @HanClinto: Sorry, I totally missed your post until now. I don't know if you still need to know how, but for future reference download the OSX version of Blender from http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/ , then open /D...

Re: The Worst Website. Ever.

Those are some horrible suggestions. Thank you very much. I implemented as many as I could.

The Worst Website. Ever.

I need some help. For my Intro to Computer Science class we're supposed to create a basic webpage with bullets, colors, etc. I got a little carried away and decided to go all out and create the worst designed website imaginable. I added a bunch of stuff, marquee, bright text, Comic Sans, and misspel...

Re: Drone Decipher --- (VisionaryCynic's entry)

Awesome, thanks Blendenzo. I would have created Linux and Mac binary but I ran out of time.

By the way, I followed your timer tutorial to make my timers. Very nice, simple tutorial.

Re: Drone Decipher --- (VisionaryCynic's entry)

Ok, I guess I misinterpreted your problem. That's an annoying recurring bug with my camera script. Just keep shaking your mouse as soon as the level starts and it should go away. I've updated the post with the fixed version of the game. The only way that it's different is that level 2 is fixed and t...

Re: Drone Decipher --- (VisionaryCynic's entry)

Ok, patch:

Just extract and merge the folders.
I fixed the bug which reset the game instead of the level and fixed the error keeping some people from playing.

Re: Drone Decipher --- (VisionaryCynic's entry)

Ok, thanks for all the feedback. I know what the problem is and I have a patch for it. You don't need Blender to play. There's an exe called "Start Game." @Lava: That button should reset the level, not the game. I guess it messed up when I compiled. @Blacko: I think the specs are just too high. It s...

Re: VisionaryCynic's SpeedGame DevBlog

Well, I wouldn't really look forward to the puzzles. I basically just built stuff off the top of my head. I'll try to make them somewhat interesting, but it's not my strong point. So I finally got some time to work on it tonight and textured this guy: [thumb=lar]http://a.imageshack.us/img696/8666/14...
