Re: Unity 2.6 indie going to be free!? o.o

And really, after you make 100k on a game, your probably going to want to upgrade to a pro license anyways so you can start using real time shading, post-render fx (including SSAO) and I believe x-box publishing is now a pro feature (may be wrong on that one).

On top of what CPU said, the forums are a great place to learn some stuff, just try browsing the scripting forum. The community in general is great, and willing to help.

Re: Unity 2.6 indie going to be free!? o.o

Haha, yeah, I bought indie at the very end of last year (dec. 24 I believe). Being a student, I probably won't be able to get pro in time... Maybe... I need that profiler O_O...

Re: Unity 2.6 indie going to be free!? o.o

At the time I posted the thread, the DL page hadn't been updated, and my information was based off twitter users who I trust.

So apparently paid indie users will get 400 dollars off pro. Thats great, but only if you can afford pro.

Being a Unity iPhone user, I hope they update Unity iPhone 1.5 to the new 2.6 interface!

Being a Unity Indie Licens owner, I am disappointed that the profiler is pro only.

My UniKnowledge project.

In my attempts to acquire a pro license for Unity, I came across the UniKnowledge contest. The idea was make the best "Tutorial Project". This post is a bit late as I finished my project about 2 months ago, but voting just opened so I thought I'd show yall and hope all you Unity users woul...

Re: A programming question on Stretching

Pure morphing from one model into another = hard, however using bones = less hard, and bones would probably be easier on the machine as well. By using bones you can animates the vertices to do such things, however file size will go up a little bit (shouldn't be a big problem in most cases) and depen...

Hello all!

My name is Daniel, I'm a 15 y/o christian high-school student (hopefully graduating next year), I come from a pretty big family (6 brothers/sisters [some form of music + noise canceling headphones is a must for work : P]), and I am currently *trying* to make games for the iPhone (Unity FTW ). I'm al...
