Great job Dlange! Especially with the colors in the grid there, and even its aesthetic. I dig that :)

Re: Talk is Cheap! Post what you're working on.

Yeah nice work jambi. Although the first couple times I tried to visit your site (shortly after you posted), it timed out loading. It was really interesting and fun! I guess for me, I would feel weird ethically actually making money from the game, since the design is based on a clone of a clone and ...

Re: David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale: Available Now!

Very nice! What I'm impressed with the most is how it seems like you're handling the interaction. With strictly Biblical content, I think at this point the safest approach is to have the interaction pretty light and just invite the player to perform pre-set actions to engage them in the world, meanw...

Re: That Dragon, Cancer E3 nomination

Just wanted to say thanks everyone for your support! We didn't get enough votes to stay in the top 10, falling just off probably around Monday night. But we still have other opportunities.

Re: That Dragon, Cancer E3 nomination

Thanks, we appreciate your vote, that means a lot. And we are very grateful for Jenn's article.

We enjoyed a brief spot at #4, but we're losing momentum compared to a couple other newcomers. Currently we are 7th. Hopefully we can continue to find support :)

Re: That Dragon, Cancer E3 nomination

How awesome would it be to say that we shot up toward the top because of the support of a forum of Christian game developers! We have so many amazing stories from GDC that make it very clear God has given us a ministry through this game. Just one of the things that has come out of it is reaching so ...

That looks awesome :) Are you planning on doing anything more with the eyes? I was just thinking it'd be cool to have a small glint in the eyes, like tiny specs of reflection from lights.

Re: Talk is Cheap! Post what you're working on.

Awesome concept art brownboot! I'd love to see hints of just one more color in there, even if it's just a subtle blue here and there. Personal preference I suppose. For the model, the buttons are the thing that stick out to me right now. Especially if you're going to use normal maps, I'd say the but...

Re: Talk is Cheap! Post what you're working on.

A woman is reliving a lifetime of going on walks with her now-dying sister.

It will be non-interactive and like a living painting in that different elements will come in and out and combine randomly.

...oh yes, and thank you :)

Yesterday I redesigned a game mode selection screen for the Crawfishing game I'm working on. The description goes in the big speech bubble.

Tycoon/Oregon Trail/nostalgia: Crawfishing iOS game

For almost the last 3 years, I've been working on and off doing pixel art on a side project, a nostalgic iOS game designed by a friend who grew up in the Bahamas. It's about to be finished :) It's part tycoon game where you try to get money catching crawfish: http://s13.postimage.org/47wzmvpc7/crawf...

Re: How to Design a Christian Themed Game

Ah yes, thanks for the link. Ben Chhoa had that at CGDC and was sharing it with people; he found it inspiring for the Christian-themed board game he was prototyping. I wanted to read through it but didn't get a chance. Now I can :)
