It was a privilege to get to meet the guys behind this awesome game - and if you haven't played it (and given them your money!!) yet then you're seriously missing out

Hi folks, if any of you are Unity developers then you may have come across the Tornado Twins before. They're serious game developers with a big following, and they've just launched their Kickstarter to make a series of Bible games - go support it now: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1622773351/...

Re: Costs and Culture near London UK

If you *do* come and stay in London, make sure you pop round and say hi! And definitely come along to church with us. It's a fantastic city to live in in lots of ways - loads of culture / history / things to do / eat. It can also be quite a lonely city if you don't know many people, because it's so ...

Re: New to making games

Hi there, It's great to have big ideas for ambitious games, but the secret to actually achieving those dreams is to put them to one side for now and instead focus on very small, finishable projects whilst you learn the skills and refine your skills. Then, when you have a track record and people know...

Re: Bible game

Hi there, Welcome to the forum! I've been trying to make a Bible-based adventure game for a long time (so far without too much joy!) but in the process I wrote this up: So you want to make a Christian video game? It's written from the point of view of somebody who failed to follow most of the advice...

Re: David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale: Available Now!

Anybody who's not tried it yet: this game is awesome and as a community we should be doing everything we can to promote teams like this - i.e. even if you don't want to play it, vote with your wallet and BUY IT. I'm going to be posting a detailed review soon - there's a few choices they made that I ...

Re: Hello everyone!

Hi there, welcome to the forum! Love the stuff you've posted on your portfolio site - looks amazing.

Do you do any 2D artwork, or just 3D stuff? I'd love to find somebody to help out with my Old Testament Adventure Game one day.

Re: Talk is Cheap! Post what you're working on.

I've been hard at work on PrayerMate for Android. I'm really excited that I've managed to license content from Operation World, a great resource to help people pray for the world.

Here's the blog post: http://www.geero.net/2014/04/pray-for-the-world-with-prayermate/

Re: Bible Chronicles: The Call of Abraham (RPG)

I've just blogged about this , encouraging people to contribute. I know we've all been burned in the past by games we had high hopes for, and were disappointed by. And I know it's a long shot trying to raise this much money for a Christian project. But it's a chicken and egg thing, and the only way ...

Re: A calling

Geers also lives in London so if you live there too (not sure from your message where you referred to Hillsong London) then you can go and meet him physically, and if you need help in kicking his lazy butt to work after project have started and he starts stalling, I can contribute by ordering plane...

Re: A calling

I don't have any money, but I have a project that needs an artist involved - Old Testament Adventures The idea is a 2D stylised cartoony point and click adventure game based around Bible stories. I've written the puzzles and the dialog for the first act of the game, and I have some basic concept art...

So here's what I've been working on - launching PrayerMate for Android! Really chuffed to have it live at last - and so far the response has been pretty positive.

Thanks again to all who supported the Kickstarter in whatever capacity!

Re: PrayerMate for Android Kickstarter

Well, I'm very excited to announce that PrayerMate for Android launched last night, and it's completely free thanks to sponsorship from London City Mission There's still a long way to go until it has all of the features of the iOS version, but it's a start! Thanks to all who supported the Kickstarte...
