Old hard-drive wouldn't start, got a new one, info swap?

hey guys! Me again, and my "excuse" this time is my computer finally going "wiggity-wiggety-wack" on me. Being one who is very unskilled in hardware computer mangagment, its taken me a bit to get my new hard-drive up and running, and everything installed correctly. but I was wond...

Re: Our Unnamed iPhone RPG Project

I still think its a feasable idea, and If you have the resources it could very well be profitable, but it still all up to you. I'm just thinking XNA could use some support, but then agian if I was so concerned I should be making my own game for it. aaaah, the joys of programming. I just might get ba...

Re: Ever wonder why...

So we have established at this point that there is a hefty amount of comedy in games. Its just that comedic aspects of the games are involved in the storylines or in the characters and how they react rather than in the actuall gameplay. I'm... relucant to bring up the subect of "Leisure Suit La...

Re: Our Unnamed iPhone RPG Project

@Sparkworker / RealmMaster: Is there any avenue for monetizing Xbox community games? That seems to be the big attraction of iPhone games -- it's so blazingly easy to make a game and see a revenue stream come in from it. --clint Well, I'm not sure about the exace semantics of how XNA works, but if t...

Re: Our Unnamed iPhone RPG Project

Nice artwork! I especially like the golem, I don't know why. I look forward to hearing more about this project! Keep us all in the loop? And by the way, Sparkworker has a point. Most of the "Community" games for the xbox are lacking in quality and oringinality. Though different coding is r...

Re: Do you enjoy playing games?

...It depends on the game. I enjoy some games, while others I agree with you, Han. I enjoy beating the game. For instance, I enjoyed Halo's story mode. There was enough fun packed into the single player levels (and the ability to play co-op and such) that I still to this day go back and play it agai...

Re: Finals are FINSIHED! I won 100 bucks for a game doc i made

hmm.. good point. I think if I had to go back and add it, controls would be like this (very simplistc, the control scheme is not the selling point of the game. Directions <- and -> move the camera around the center egg. mouse or analog stick is used to move cursor over object or pollywoggles. A simp...

Re: Finals are FINSIHED! I won 100 bucks for a game doc i made

thanks, Mene! The only thing I want to point out among that list is that game controls were lacking because I'm in no way sure which system to have the game on (comptuer or console, blah blah blah)

Thanks for the help! :D

Re: Time Experiment

I like the idea, CPU.... a spark of creativity sent me off on a random tangent path... you could work that into a portal-ish game. Where "shooting" an ojbect can reverse its timeline, or speed it up. For instance, one level, there's an earthquake, and things are falling all around you and ...
