Hello... (sounds of distant echos)

Haven't been here for two years but saw the ad for the speed game. Blessings to all who contribute and participate. I had fun the years I did. Actually looking at the development platform I was using at the time it is a miracle that I was able to do anything in Visual Basic. As far as I go I continu...

Re: Four years since I bolted.

Thanks Lava and Han, I remember both of you from the old old days. I think Mike is doing okay. We do not really talk as much as we used to. Our company folded over a year ago. Since our father passed away,he and my mother have moved to seperate addresses. He is stil linvolved in computer work. Sneak...

Four years since I bolted.

Yep, four years ago I pretty much wrote of this forum due to some pretty sad things. On my way to work I chuckled about things and decided I would check in to see if things were different or the same. First chuckle. Four years ago, I had 2GB of ram on my development machine and that was actually ade...

I had to say you had me laughing, but it was a little quick, not done laughing at the first joke and the next one was already done. Great jokes, good variety.

Re: Health care bill: Good or bad?

I think this health care bill is too unknown to make many decisions on. I read the old bill, but the new one I have not.

Do we aim to put our trust in man's system and take it from God's system? Do we choose to try and trust a physician or the Great Physician?

Kenman update

To my friends and to those who may not call me friend: At this time in my life God has called me away from coding, even small stuff has become a struggle. As I move forward in my life I can see that God can use me and give me knowledge in one area for a season, to get me ready for the next part of m...

My latest CD project is completed.

My latest solo CD Christmas Kringle is complete. It is a compilation of different styles of Christmas and holiday music. I have several different genre's from Jazz, techno rock, classical and folk represented. All but 2 of the tracks are from this year (October is when I started this project). Every...

Xylem (our band) final performance for 2009.

I used to be here a ton, but in the last year a ton has changed. My music ministry has really taken off. I probably will have 75+ gigs in for the year. I would have had 100 if not for time taken off for recording. It is amazing to see people who come out to hear you play. This kind of ministry is ea...

Re: Talk is Cheap! Post what you're working on.

Still doing very little programming. Doing a ton of concerts this summer and a few more large ones this weekend. We will be working on the band's third CD in a few months as we are still touring on the second CD.

Am programming a guitar synth, but that does not count.

Returning to update on new CD.

I know that I had a few fans here of my music. Our band has released it's second CD and we are going to be busy this summer promoting the CD with shows. Our second CD was appropriately named 00000010 The CD Art http://www.jimseekamp.com/xylem2cd.jpg The music http://burlapandblues.com/uploads/xylem-...

Re: Obama's possible ineligibility to run as president

Despite all of the claims there is no evidence at all that Obama was ever Muslim or raised a Muslim. The real question is what if he was? What if McCain was Muslim? Do we discriminate people based on their religion in America now? Since when is being called a Muslim an insult. Not that it has anyth...

Windows version 7?

According to Microsoft, Windows 7 will be called Windows 7 (original!). But this my no means is Windows 7. According to a user on Slashdot, it would really be Windows 6, Service pack 6, revision 6..... (okay so maybe that's exagerated, but by no means were there only 7 versions of windows) Here's th...
