Re: Only the serious apply: Indie Project Budgets

You need to to do what, exactly? You don't have to make millions, especially if you don't spend a ton of money and hire expensive devs/artists to assist.

Re: iPad/iTunes Questions

iPads are awesome, I have a 3GS and a 16Gig no-3G ipad. You can sync apps from itunes to either device, no repurchasing necessary unless you previously owned a universal version of an app and want an ipad specific version, if there is one. (For instance, I bought the HD version of Osmos because its ...

Re: in-game ads

I've noticed that some forms of media (TV/movies/radio) have integrated advertisements into their programs in a subtle way so that the experience of the program isn't totally interrupted (i.e. an actor may hold up a specific brand of food for a moment and endorse it.) I'm curious if any companies h...

Statistics are, in most cases, about as valuable as a used roll of toilet paper.

Well I was referring to the decisions that were made during the design/programming process, but that works too! ;)

Re: Left Behind 3: Rise of the Anti-Christ trailer

Well, about that
it is one of the only video games ever produced to show gamers the consequences of poor decisions.
I wouldn't say it's one of the only, but I totally agree that this game shows gamers(and everyone else) the consequences of poor decisions.

Re: Video Games and Moral Choices

There's a spiritual dimension of this issue that's not being explored. As Christians, we should be repulsed by games that allow us to do evil. Even if some such games "penalize" us for bad behavior. These games still have ways for us to cheat the justice system, such as paying off our bounties to t...

Re: Article: Where I Stand on the Creation / Evolution Circus

Since earthly cancer and sickness and death are products of sin, can you use the name of Jesus to keep someone from dying on earth... for 10,000 years? Actually i do think so. I believe it is possible not to die at all, if we are able to believe strong enough and receive. For first of all, Oldest m...

I was kinda distracted from your (excellent) post thinking about that. Did you type it with your nose or possibly a stick held between your teeth or maybe with your toes?

Inquiring minds want to know!

OP very interesting too, I am glad you posted it, Rick. :)

Re: Article: Where I Stand on the Creation / Evolution Circus

I agree that it's a circus... Main difference is that going to the circus and watching trapeze artists and lions and elephants doesn't make me want to cry. Meanwhile the world turns and burns and smolders in chaos, as the Christians of America(well, some), argue on about whether the "Creation Accoun...
