You're absolutely right about branding selling a shoddy product and StarWars can certainly be considered a poster child for this sort of thing. Does WoW fall into this bracket? Kind of, they sold more copies of the last WoW Expansion in 24 hrs than they sold Starcraft 2 copies in its first weekend. ...
