What is that car thing?

Any of you auto-philes know what the little plastic trim thing that goes above the window called? My wife has it on her truck but one side is broken and I want to find her some new ones for Christmas. Basically, it allows her to roll the window down about an inch and the opening is still covered (li...

Re: Communal music project?

Well, you don't have to have GarageBand to have fun...or any other software that can add in drums or midi instruments. You can record with good ol' windows sound recorder and send it to someone else to mix for you. I use CakeWalk, GarageBand and CuBase. None of these really mean anything without tal...

I would be careful with the "humps and lumps" of anatomy.

I'm not as tactful as JeTSpice...but I didn't even notice the "boob arm" until I double checked to see what JeTSpice was talking about. That was a bit excessive.

Re: Tune Music and SFX, show us your stuff

Both of the tunes are my attempts are coding a vst plug in. I can get them to work on my one system and then I can't port them. Duksoup is just a trial of the effect. It is just a funky groove in Cminor. Christmas with the Borg is a collaboration with Chuck from KOTB. He added the drums. The rest i...

Re: Wooo! I got a piano!

What kind of piano, Grand, Baby Grand, upright or Player Piano. It's an upright piano, I don't remember the brand though. There's a lot of memories with this thing, there's scratch marks up above the white keys from when my mother used to play it a lot and had long fingernails (and would play in E ...

Wooo! I got a piano!

Waaaay back before time began for some of you young whipper-snappers, my father purchased a piano for my mother as a Christmas gift. I have always told them to NEVER sell or give it away and that I want it. Some of this weekend was spent moving the piano...and I tell you, that was a beast! But, it's...
