Hey andygeers,

Nice to meet you. Thanks for the compliments brother.

@ Mene-Mene and ArchAngel

Thanks you guys also. I always appreciate positive critisicm. Who doesn't right? Lol. Hey Mene I agree it is alittle too shiny. I'll need to refine it alittle. ArchAangel I'm going to work on creating the UV coordinates for the head itself so I can actually get Jeff's face mapped properly. To show, I hope, proper skintone with blemishes as well as wrinkles, line depressions in the skin, and stubble. Plus I can finally give him some eyebrows. You'd be amazed at how much that small detail can effect the outcome. Again thanks guys.

@ Jetspice

Thanks always for your seal of approval Jeff. It really means alot.

Blessings everyone,

Andrew

Hey everyone,

Sorry I've taken so long to get this update posted. Finally I've been able to get the skin on the model. Next I'm going to work on the eyes next. Please let me know what you guys think.

Blessings

Nice! Do you have plans for the glasses, or will Mr. JetSpice just have two monocles? jk ;)

Seriously though, nice skin!

Thats looking really awesome.
And you'd better be sorry, as looking to see if you've updated anything on this thread is often the first thing I check when logging on CDN :P
Though, really, it is

JoeJoeZ26 - Woho! Nice, Is there a shader applied? -

Hey Joejoe,

No there isn't any special shader. However, I did use a lot of procedural textures for the specular and bump channels in addition to the face map I created for the model. This is the face map I created from some front and profile shots Jetspice sent me below.

Kukanani - Nice! Do you have plans for the glasses, or will Mr. JetSpice just have two monocles? -

Yeah I know it looks funny. I'll eventually build the glasses. Its just that when I meet Jeff he was always wearing his. So I just made two glass circles in rims to help me see if I was building the model right. To me Jeff just doesn't look like Jeff without them. Lol. Anyways, thanks for the kudos I appreciate it brother.

HanClinto - Wow -- fantastic stuff! He needs more pimples. -

Lol. Yeah he does! Sorry Jeff, just kidding. Thanks Han I appreciate it.

Nehemius - Thats looking really awesome.

Hey Steven! Whats up brother! When do I get to slay monsters in your rpg in the name of Jesus man? I'm dying to get a crack at it. Thanks for the compliments I really appreciate them every time.

Realm Master those are some of the best kudos anyone has ever given me. Thanks.

Hey Andrew. The rpg is still coming along, but I've been quite busy lately, with a new job and all. I've been trying to learn C++, and am considering rewriting my code over from Game Maker.

I am really looking forward to seeing further updates on your project as well.

Hey everyone. I just barely found a little free time to make a quick update to Jet's face. If you look you'll see that I ve smoothed out the polys a little, swapped out the ears for new ones, added some spectacules, fixed bad areas in mapping with better uv coordinates, and finally created a decent pair of eyes. Love you guys. Enjoy.

I found this really cool free photoshop like program and tried a filter effect on it just for fun. I liked it so much I thought I'd go ahead and post the result.
