Trying to finish a small "first game" in panda. TBH I'm just trying to get a simple character walking around at this point. Wish me luck...

The iOFG art is slowly, but steadily progressing ;). Jeff updated the tank to include lightmaps. It looks really slick. Currently the iphone version of the game looks better than the PC version, so we'll have to update the PC version when we're done.

Mene: What is Ziro?

CPU: I love the tank! Is the darker tank a destroyed version? Or is it the same with just better lighting?

And I'd like to have everybody give two thumbs up for Mene-Mene because he is doing such a good job with the game (Ziro). The whole NCG team is awesome!

Computer: Waiting for my new laptop to arrive monday or tuesday. Been without a descent computer for over a month now -_-' (the main reason why i've been on less often lately)

School: Midterms almost over, psychology left on monday. Now I just need to find a way to pass my signal analysis course...

Electronics: Working on LED driving circuits, simple but it passes the time while I wait for my laptop to continue on BCI/EEG. I ordered 2000 LEDs. I've only burnt 10 so far :D

I'm experimenting with trying to record a few low-cost videos chatting about different aspects of my Old Testament adventure games project. Here's the first attempt - "Christian video games without the boring morality"

This is just a rendered animation of that Beretta 92 I modeled a while back, just rendered it for a school assignment, that business thing I posted on the forum while back, well it's just for that assignment have to make a 5 minute video, just need some 3d model footage, need to find some other things to make models off too, :) fun.

Getting ready for beta testing for Vastar, working with my composer on getting this soundtrack finished, and prepping for GDC! Of course, that's on top of school, internship, work, and other RL stuff x_x so yes I'm (still) busy.

Here's the sell sheet I'll be passing out at GDC. Also, my composer Greg is planning on making some promo copies of the soundtrack to pass out at the con, as well.

Vastar is looking better and better, I'm looking forward to hearing the music as well! :)
Hey Blacko, that is pretty awesome. If I might ask... what did you use to render it with?

That looks great, dude. I'm getting ready to put my first game in the app store too, as soon as Flash CS5 comes out :D.

How do you like working in the Unity3D game engine?

You may lol, it was just modelled and rendered in Blender. Just with the internal render + some well placed lights, then rendered vid's put them together in vegas and made them fade to the next. No Pov Ray or anything like that (haven't got around to learning to render prop yet, not interested in it)

I love it. Especially when I mess with Obj-C iPhone scripts. I'd bend over backwards to code a game in Unity instead of Obj-C, even Cocos2d (cool as it may be).

Not having to make any super special changes to get my PC Unity games to run on the iPhone is a big plus too.

Yeah. I love Flash, it's all I ever use. But when I want to make a 3D game, I'll have to give Unity a try!
