Wow, I can't believe I'm just seeing this thread @_@
These challenges seem a little too out of my league, though. I definitely can't finish some of these things in a week, and now that school and work is starting up, my free time will be limited once more.
I do like to see what others have come up with in these challenges. Kudos to all of the participants!

yeah, that's what i learned in the first one -- i had to throw out every best practice and just about every theme, concept, and idea. the experience helped me to focus on short-term productivity.

Eventually, after these Speed Challenges take root, let's hope for seasonal challenges -- a two-day event whose scope is in-between the 2-hour Challenges and 2-week Speed Game.

This will present some awesome stepping stones for up-and-coming developers to get some instant gratification, learn perseverance, and also to have more impacting Speed Games (and eventually published titles, woot!)

If I was to participate in the challenge, would I need to submit a link to the code or an .exe?

Just the compiled executable (whether .exe or whatever) is sufficient. Source code is nice, but not necessary.

Okay, thanks :)
I don't think I'll be participating in this one but it's nice to know how I can.
