SpeedCode 22: PacMan Clone

Postby CDNAdmin » Wed Jun 05, 2013 8:52 pm

The theme "PacMan Clone" can be interpreted however you like.
Make a PacMan Clone, make a game about cloned PacMen, etc.

Your game can be anything from text mode to 3d, so long as you can do it in 8 HOURS.

All entries must be submitted by JUNE 16TH.

Have fun and be a better coder!

Hares late entry again.

Although I meant not to make speedcoders while I was coding community game still, I decided to make exception this time to try out Achilds Basis Hollywood plugin to get more familiar with it.

Basis is the Spriter type program (or since its creator, achild is one of our community members, we trust that soon Spriter is referred as the Basis type program) that will be used as basis for community games graphics.

Amiga OS 3: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3375468/Speedcoder22aos3.zip

sorry, no mac verson this time since Mac plugin is currently missing still.

Unzip contents to anywhere and start .exe file and it should work.

took me about 3 hours of coding to make.

Okay that is officially the saddest ending to a game I have ever seen. I hate losing this game!

Gah! I can't beat it.

My friend beat it though when I told him about it, and he read to me what it says when you win :D

[edit] Also, Like was mentioned in Hollywood forums, the screen res should probably be smaller. It just crashes on my lap top, for instance. Works on my monitor at work though. I do wonder if the plugin is doing the crashing though. I'll look soon and make sure it's not or fix it if it is.

I dont think problem is with your plugin, I think problem is with one missing line of code.

I am going to make new exes when it is confirmed that the problem is that missing line or not.

For usually I just copy paste my own first two lines, but this time i used your example as basis, and I didnt pay any attention that instead of my typical two lines of otehr one being @Screen "fullscreenfake", your first line was @Version 1,0

I believe problem is that missing @Screen "fullscreenfake" line.
