PM Scam

Postby BOwen » Mon Feb 02, 2009 5:43 am

For lack of a better place.

I'm sure the admins would be right on top of this but as I happen to be up in the wee hours I thought.. why wait?

There's a new account only a couple hours old that just sent me an obvious scam PM. I suspect more than a few others have seen it to by now. Without really knowing any better I figured it'd be ok to post.

It's really sad that people pull this BS.
I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with senses, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them. - Galileo

In the future, the fastest way to get this resolved is for someone to notify Mack, Samw3 and myself via PM -- that will give us e-mail notifications, and one of us can log in and ban the user.

Thanks for the help, guys (kudos to Rimtech) -- it's been resolved.
