Looking for Game Music

Postby EternityStar » Thu Jul 03, 2014 10:10 am

Hello, I am EternityStar and I'm going to be participating in SpeedGame 2014, but I'm having trouble finding game music. Does anyone know where I can find free game music ?

I posted this in the resources link. But this site has 2D art, 3D art, music, sound FX, graphic FX, and just about anything else to make a game. The only thing is you need to spend time sifting through all the open source art to find what you want.

Hi, you could also check http://www.flashkit.com/loops/, I used it a few times in the past, I believe not everything is free to use, but most of it is.

this place is sort of popular, but you run the risk of using music that's overused elsewhere: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/

And this thing can make some interesting sound effects: http://www.superflashbros.net/as3sfxr/

And generally searching with "royalty free music" probably gives you some results.

Thanks for helping me re-find incompetech. Who cares about re-using, it's not like movie trailers even *try* to be original.
