I am using The Gimp. I draw each frame and set up the layers accordingly.brandav wrote:Nice ExevaloN, what do you animate with?
Thanks Dylen!dylenbrivera wrote:Fantastic work bro keep it up!
Yeah, in some of the frames his head has a tilt movement upwards, then goes back down. I thought it would be cool but It has bothered me a bit, and Im going to end up fixing it. Also there is another error in the animation, and its that the arms should move in opposition to legs when running, and here they are moving together. For example, if my right leg is thrust forward, my left arm should thrust forward aswell, while the right arm moves back along with the left leg. Here the right arm moves with the right leg, and the left arm moves with the left leg. Its wierd haha. I thought I had it covered while drawing the frames, becuase I had noticed it, but as I continued working I forgot about it.b-o wrote:It will be interesting to see it all colored in, it's looking good. Does the head pivot forward in one frame? I think it would be better if the direction of the face would stay the same in all of the movement frames, otherwise it would seem like a headbanger rocking out while they run.
Thanks! After the speedgame challenge is over, Id love to do some inbetween animations for that to really smooth it out and give it more impact.muadib wrote:Looks nice!
